How do I set Indigo dye in hemp?
I bought a traditional costume of the Black Hmong people when I was in Vietnam, and was told that I needed to set the dye myself. It's completely handmade from hemp and dyed with indigo dye. After some quick research, I'm utterly confused by all the conflicting advice about salt/vinegar/commercial products. What's the best way to set the dye so I can wear the garment?
